Drivers ocular TEM350-v8

Buenas a todos,

 

Soy nuevo en esto de la astronomía y os voy a confesar que me está costando mucho empezar solo en esto. El caso es que sin mucho asesoramiento y en un arrebato compré un Pentaflex 80/910 mm de segunda mano, que posteriormente he comprobado que no es ninguna maravilla pero que la compra podía haber sido mucho peor viendo lo que cogen algunos novatos. Este tiene montura GoTo (no veas para alinearla, aún no he conseguido hacerlo del todo bien), que para los principiantes viene muy bien, se puede automatizar conectándolo a un PC, e incluso se puede ver y capturar imagen a través de un ocular electrónico; y aquí es donde viene el problema.

El modelo es el TEM350-v8 de pentaflex, tengo el ocular y el cable pero no tengo el cd con los drivers y por más que busco no lo encuentro, se que con mi nivel igual aún no lo necesito porque aún estoy empezando en visual, pero me gustaría tener la opción de hacer algo con el ocular ya que lo tengo, ¿alguna idea?

Hola @velaman, lo veo muy parecido a los LPI de MEADE. Yo hice algunos palotes con esa cámara, anda bien. Puedes bajarte los drivers desde la fábrica (www.meade.com) y probar.

Gracias PMG, al final he conseguido los drivers, resulta que buscando buscando ha aparecido el cd que yo creía que ni me habían dado al comprarlo. Pero para variar me ha surgido otro problema, sigo los pasos de la instalación tal y como me indica el archivo readme que viene en el CD:

 

Instruction
Image Software Installation
1. Place the CD ROM into your PC¡¯s CD drive.
2. Open the CD and choose ¡°setup.exe¡± in the file named Soft to    install the image software.
3. The install wizard appears. Please wait.
4. The wizard will lead to the next step ¡°welcome¡± automatically.    Please click ¡°Next¡± if you would like to continue.
5. The installing message appears. If you agree the installing rule,    click ¡°Yes¡±.
6. Custom registering. Please fill in the name and the company. After    this step, the gray ¡°Next¡± will turn to black and
   useable. Click it.
7. The installation will display the default position of the installing    file. If it is OK, please click ¡°Next¡±. If you would like to
   change, you can click ¡°Browse¡± to choose the position you desire,     and then click ¡°Next¡±.
8. Choose the default options, and click ¡°Next¡±.
9. There are several steps left for you to operate. You¡¯d better not    Click ¡°Cancel¡± to exit.
10. Click ¡°Finish¡± to exit when the installing completes.

Driver installation

1. Do not plug the USB cable into your PC at this time and close all    the running programs before installing the driver.
2. Choose ¡°setup.exe¡± in the file named Driver to install the driver.
3. The install wizard appears. Please wait. It is better not to click    ¡°Cancel¡± to exit.
4. Welcome step. The wizard will ask you whether you would like to    continue. If so, please click ¡°Next¡±.
5. Information of the installation, if you confirm the configuration    that you set, click the ¡°Next¡±.
6. The installing will copy some relevant files. Please don¡¯t click ¡°   Cancel¡± to exit the copying. After finishing the copying,
   the installing will enter the next step automatically.
7. The installing has been finished. Click ¡°Finish¡± to exit.

To connect Electronic Eyepiece
Before connect the Electronic Eyepiece to your PC, please confirm that the USB interface on your PC is all right.

1. Connect the USB cable of the Electronic Eyepiece to your PC
2. ¡° Find a new hardware¡± of your PC screen

  ¡°Next¡±. The Wizard searches for the driver.
4. The driver Is installed. You can click the ¡°start-programs-PC    CAMEAR £¨602A VGA £©-AMCap¡±.

Hago las dos primeras, o sea, llego hasta la fila de X en negrita. Instalo el software y los drivers sin ningún problema y según yo entiendo al conectar el ocular con el usb tendría que salirme el asistente y empezar a operar sin ningún problema con alguno de los programas para la gestión de camaras, pero lo meto y no pasa nada, me dice que el dispositivo está listo para su uso cuando lo meto pero al ir al administrador de dispositivos me dice que los controladores no son correctos. ¿Puede ser algún problema de compatibilidad ya que estoy operando desde un equipo nuevo con windows 10 y 64 bits?¿Alguna sugerencia?

PD: Por lo que estoy leyendo por ahí buscando los drivers de meade tal y como me ha recomendado PMG sí parece ser un problema de compatibilidad bastante común con dispositivos antiguos en equipos con software nuevo. Estoy mirando y he encontrado algunos foros en los que se comenta algo del Autostar Suite de Meade.

Alguién sabe si hay una versión para windows 10, o tiene idea de si funcionará. Ahora lo dejo ya que llevo dándole todo el día y son las 21:30.
